We have lots of volunteer opportunities at Hough! Whether you can volunteer once a year or once a week, we can always put you to work!
To Volunteer during school hours all volunteers must complete a school district Volunteer Application (click here).​
Family Movie Night - Moana 2
​April 25, 2025 - Doors at 5:45, Movie starts at 6pm
Movie night is back with Moana 2! We need ushers, popcorn poppers, and concessions attendants to help sell hot dogs, drinks, and other concessions.
Birthday Table
Upcoming dates: Mar. 28, Apr. 25, May 30
​Each month Hough PTSA sponsors a lunchtime birthday celebration. Students with birthdays that month grab a buddy, snap a pic at the photo booth and pick a prize!
This is a fun and easy way to volunteer - help take photos and welcome kids to the Birthday Table! ​
Carnival and BBQ
June 9, 2025
​The carnival will take place in June but planning begins now. We are forming a committee to help plan the theme, games, prizes, and more.
Do you know the best way to rotate game/booth volunteers? Do you know a face painter? Join the planning committee! We need your help.​​
Reading Mentorships​
​You can make a huge difference for our Hough Hawks! Did you know that nearly half of 3rd graders in Clark County don’t read at grade level? And that 75% of students who are behind in reading when they enter 4th grade never catch up?
Read Northwest needs volunteers to do weekly 1-on-1 Reading Mentorships with Hough students! Training and supplies are provided, and sessions take 30 minutes or less.​
